We are continuing to implement all “Universal Precautions” and are reviewing daily changes that are required by the CDC, OSHA, Oregon Health Authority and our Professional Associations (American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association® and our local associations).
We are dedicated as always to implementing “safety protocols” and all “infection control measures” for our patients and staff.
We are prescreening the health of all individuals before entering the office every day. This includes patients, parents and staff.
We are only allowing patients to enter the office with the exception of 1 parent with a patient that is 12 or younger. The parent must stay in the reception area!
We will be utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for staff that is appropriate for the procedures that we are performing. Please inform us of any problems with your braces/aligners in advance as this will change the preparation for your appointment!
Masks are required to be worn by ALL individuals coming into the office and “social distancing” will be in place. (Please bring your own mask). This is important to allow us to conserve PPE!
Toothbrush stations will be closed.
The bathroom will also be temporarily closed (we understand the inconvenience and frustration with this).
We have verified that our clinical equipment is in good working order and we will be providing care to our patients in treatment chairs that have more separation than we previously did before (greater than 6 feet).
Any excess materials (magazines, iPads, coffee station, check-in keyboard, counter-top materials etc.) have been removed.
We will update you as best as we can to treatment progress/status under the circumstances.
We look forward to seeing all of you, keeping everyone safe and moving forward in your orthodontic treatment. Please be patient with us as we all try to navigate this TOGETHER!!
We appreciate every one of you!
