Tom McCall Waterfront Park
Portland, Oregon

Oregon is one of the most popular places to enjoy beautiful Cherry Blossom trees in the spring. There are 100 Akebono cherry trees that line the waterfront. These magical trees were a gift from the Japanese Grain Importers Association in 1990. The park is open from 5am to midnight daily with no admission fees. The beautiful blossoms offer a breathtaking landscape for photos, a leisurely walk, or a picnic beneath their canopy. Portland’s nationally recognized Saturday Market is also located within the park and will be reopening on April 17, 2021. Don’t miss out on some of the best arts, crafts, and food in the state of Oregon!

Best time to visit for cherry blossoms: Late March to early April

Locals Tip: Visit nearby Pine Street Market for lunch. It is an industrial food hall that offers a wide variety of delicious food options!!

Welcome to our Orthodontic Family! Our sticker club is a fun way for kids who aren’t yet ready for braces to get involved and comfortable with our office. We work with local graphic designers to make unique, limited edition stickers every 3 months. We encourage you to collect them, share them, and show off the artwork of creative minds in our community. Check it out:

  • After your first visit, look for a postcard in the mail. The postcard will include your first sticker, and update you on our current contests and events that you can participate in. At Jady Chiakowsky Orthodontics, we love involving our patients in exciting contests and events during their time with our office.
  • Stick that sticker and share it! Post a photo of it on Facebook or Instagram and tag our office. Every tagged photo that includes one (or an entire collection) of our stickers will earn you an entry into our bi-annual grand prize drawing. The prize changes every time, so just ask! (Hint: It’s always worth it.)
  • You’ll get a new postcard and sticker every 3 months until you are ready to get started with braces. How many will you collect?
